In Canada a new M5 is $130,000 plus 16% tax.
And I live 30km from the US.
Dont feel to bad in Australia you have to fork out $ 231,500 ( US$189,830) plus 2% stamp duty plus delivery etc. to buy an M5 thats marketing for you

So that is why Bimmers are so damn expensive here in OZ, we are subsidising the profits that BMW can't make in the US.

I travel to the US on business and my wife and i spent part of our honeymoon in the US also , I love what i have seen of the country (we especially love Vegas) and have always found the vast majority of people to be friendly, welcoming and very hospitable. IMO it is a great country (with flaws like anywhere else) with good people so i can see why others would want to come and live their.

Anyway....when you guys in the US go to your dealer to order you new E60 please don't screw them down for too good a deal because ultimately some poor Aussie is making up the differane

True, but I'm only kidding.
No politics,
but the fact is that China has more USD cash in their pockets than the US deficit.

No one has more oil, gas and other metals and minerals than Russia.

US has the best army in the world but the whole nation is working with loaned money.

But US, EU, Russia, China, India, South America nor any other county in this world owns this planet!

We share it!

But sadly, we have a race of who will destroy more...
