My Ride: E60 520d with BMW Night Vision, Adaptive Bi-Xenon, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pro Logic 7, Pro Nav with DVD changer and TV, Aux in for Ipod, Hella White Taillamps, Red Angel eyes, HUD, BMW Individual Backseat DVD with infrared headsets, Alp White 3, Comfort Seats with ventilation electric memory, sunroof, PDC, Alpine remap, M-Sport, Dynamic Drive, Steptronic ..... (ALL OPTIONS) (Why not get all options then buying a bigger engine?)

OK guys I've decided what to do. First I didn't sign the waiver so if they don't repair it I still have the right to sue them or go to the press. Later I've decided and spoke with them to trade-in my car after they repair it. So I'm gonna pay the difference and they are going to buy my car back(trade in) and give me a brand new 530xd. SO LATEST QUESTION WHAT OPTIONS SHOULD I GET on my 530xd. I really need some opinions as I can't now get them all as I got them on my old 520d. And also how many colors does BMW have on E60 and which looks nice especially I need a light color.

Well what a luxury to have a 530xd as a student .

But now, well euhm i should def. go for m pack since otherwise the car looks to high if you ask me...
With the m-pack on, the front spoiler gives the car a lower view. You will still have the gap between the wheels and carrosserie, but that is ok for me...

Otherwise you can check my option list and consider which one's you need OR you look at iceman who has 99 % of all options and consider that

My list of "must haves" is: leather + sport/comfort seats, xenons, enhanced a/c, cd changer w/ some premium speakers, bluetooth. Nav is nice, but I'm not even sure it covers Turkey! If it doesn't, I'd rather have a sunroof.

Colour: I think E60 looks better in dark colours, but I can understand why you want a light one (heat!). Titanium grey is a good compromise for me. You can find the list of colours on the BMW website - I think the standard offering is dependent on the country (UK has 12: white and black non-met, 5 tones of metallic grey, 2 blues, 1 red, 1 green and metallic black). M-sport kit looks good - especially in light colours - but again I'm not that sure I'd spend the money; On poorly surfaced and crowded (UK) roads, I'd rather have a slightly softer suspension than the M-sport one anyway - opportunities to exploit the extra 0.05g of lateral acceleration are very limited indeed.

Just my 0.02p

Mystic Blue tends to look a bit oldish after awhile... ALPINE WHITE, now thats the top of all light color in my opinion. As for options, get it fully loaded, its the best way to enjoy a car, again in my opinion. For exterior, definitely the M-Tech kit, I totally missed that one..
