Giving the wife the car she was driving the GMC Envoy, but I decided to buy a Nissan 350z Roadster...I will modify the heck out of this car

I recognize that pic from the my350 forums, that's nice. Just happened to pick up a redline Z myself and actually went past 1200 miles today. After break-in, I had the chance to take it through some tight twisties and had a blast. That canyon run really made me look forward to the malibu drive in august. Just wondering, what are your mod plans.

BTW, I think you made a good choice not getting AS. Don't get me wrong, driving a car with AS is great, but it's not really needed and takes away some road feel in the process. For awhile, I jumped on the AS bandwagon, but after hearing the cost of an alignment due to AS, I jumped back off.

One other thing, did you have a manual in your old 530 or do you have a manual in your new one?

Other than the super short throws, I find that it's much easier to rev match, along with heel and toe in the Z.

COngrats on the 350...you picked a great color RedLine, yeah it is a total blast to drive, I am doing the exterior first such as the stillen spoiler and fron lip, My bro-in-law is selling me a Helix test pipe and should add 7 ponies for $50.....I should be lowering the car this month with Eibach Pro-Kit

The AS....actually the 06 has better feel on the steering compared to the 04....but on the 04 I did not have the sport package so I guess it makes a big difference and I will not mod the 06 except for tint and the BMW spoiler (its the wifes car now)

Thanks
Al
