Thumbs up

Who here has demanded more than the KBB trade in value for their former car?

I mean there's dealer trade, private party and dealer retail. If the dealer gives you an allowance above the private party value they're still turning a profit, no?

I am contemplating about putting my 545i up for sale and trading up to a 550i. Not sure how much of a loss I would have to take on that. I have to do some research.

your not getting that much more in the 550. if your thinking about that extra hp your wrong. they raise the rpms that you get max hp. this is 400 rpms more than the 545. this alone accounts for most of the hp gain. they played with the fuel to help lower the rpm at max torque and increase it at 3400, this does help some, but the real differences are not worth what you'll pay by trading in the 545.
