Leonard,

Have you gotten a ship name yet? Mine has been at the POE since Friday.

No not yet. BMWNA says that the car is en route to the port of exit. But the customer service rep. said, last week, that the car should be loaded onto the ship by this Friday.

I will call tomorrow and see if there's an update.

Let me know if you find out something.

Maybe your car is waiting for my car.

Leonard.

Called BMWNA today and my car is: "Vehicle is at the port waiting for the shipping vessel."

I try to find out what vessel it will be on today.

Hopefully, the shipping vessel will leave on Friday as scheduled below and then we should see it here by the end of February.

I got the same information from BMW NA, if it gets on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen ship tomorrow, it will arrive in New York on February 9th, figure a week from there and I may have the car by 2/15, which would be sweet. I'm luck that 90% of the East Coast BMW's go on Wallenius Wilhelmsen.

Talked to the customer rep. at BMWNA and he said the car has been waiting at the port since Monday (1/24/05). He said it takes from 2-4 days to get loaded onto the ship. So by Friday, I should know the ship name.

Also, got an email from my sales rep. and he said my car is a 'priority-one' car and will get here as fast as possible or faster then average.

I'll keep you posted.

Leonard.

Leonard,

Mine is a Priority One also, arrived at the port on 1/21, and got on a ship on 1/25. Arrives NY next Friday, see my new topic.

Ornament,

My delivery duration is showning about 64 days vs. your 63 days.? My durations were taken from EBMCS03 which is very close to yours.? The only variance is in the vessel travel duration.? Depending on the vessel, it can take anywhere from 25 to 32 days.? I used 32 since it would be the worst case.? Take a look at the updated schedules below.? Based on my schedule, you should get your car by next Thursday 1/27/05.? Let me know if this is the case so that I can get confidence in my schedule.

Thanks,
Leonard.
Leonard,
as I already posted in other thread, I got my car two days ago. The arrival at the dealership was 1/23, one day for PDI, and picked up on 1/25. This is just for your reference...

ornament,

I had 1/27 and you ended up at 1/25. I would say that was close enough. Its about 61 days, which my dealer originally told me about 60 days, again very close.

I've included an updated schedule, I hope its accurate enough for you. If not let me know.

Leonard.
