This is why I love this forum, I'm doing my 1st face to face meeting on the July 19th. I'll definately be printing this out when I go and weigh in my options to decide whether I'm doing Euro Delivery. Will they give me a heads ups on when I will have to take delivery? because I'm hoping it's not early september because I'll definately not be able to take time off from work, they have a huge trade show that will definately have me stuck in NYC.

I ordered my car Feb '05 and took delivery in Germany April '05. Two months. So, if you ordered it soon and they have allocation you may be able to take delivery in August. I suggest you go to the second link I provided and read up on the specifics.

Not every dealership knows how to or wants to do ED. There is a list of preferred dealerships floating around in bimmerfest. When I have some time tomorrow I'll look for it.

Here is the list of preferred dealerships willing to do ED: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45492. Look at the last page first. I think someone mentioned JMK BMW in Springfield NJ. Good luck!

Here there gang, I was wondering whether you could offer some advice to me about my car purchase. I
want to thank member mercy for directing me to habberstad BMW in Long Island again the sales associate
I've been working with has been great. I'm plan on leasing my car, and I got quote from my sales
associate for a 530i (auto, Sports, Nav, rear shades, premium & cold) for about $780 a month. I'm not sure
whether this is a good deal but considering a new 530i with just auto goes for $673 a month with no options
I thought this sounded good. I asked her about the amount due for my lease signing and she tells me
$4,750
including taxes! Now I want to go with zero down because I don't really care for cap
reduction (because if anything happens to the car, I lose that money) but doesn't this sound a little high? do
you think the dealer is taking me for a good joy ride? I thought it was mostly the 1st month payment &
security deposit plus taxes due at lease signing? please bare in mind that I'm 22 years old and have no prior
experience with any of this, hence me asking you so many questions. I might be young & filled with too
many emotions when it comes to this car but I also want to get it at a fairly reasonable price without feeding
the sales associate for length of my lease. any advice you can give me is strongly appreciated. Again, I
just want to know whether this is fair or not. I'm not stating anything about the sales individual.

Here's the details:
MSRP -$61,240
Sale Price- $57,140.89
12,000 miles/year
36 months
62% residual
.00175 money factor
Payment- $699
Like I said, I got the car at Rallye, the 2007's were on the lot. It was the last 2006 they had, turned out someone ordered it and backed out. The rates in April were as shown above and I knew it was a great deal so I jumped on it. I signed for the car on May 1st- locking in April's rate and picked up the car on May 25th. I still had till July 23rd on the lease of my M3, but was willing to take on both cars. I ended up selling the M3 and made back my payments that remained. It worked out really well.

ok, I see you did get a GREAT DEAL, the money factor on that was way lower than it is now. the money rate for the I've been hearing are .00241 or greater. Maybe I'll run into the same luck as you did and find something I really want on the lot already, lol.
