Wondering if anyone knows of a good shop in Metro Detroit for these cars other than dealerships?
Thanks

I've never used them to be honest, but they've been around for at least 25 years, and I've seen every make and model of BMW, Porsche, Audi and VW in and around their premises whenever I drive by.

There are a ton of illegitimate children out there, and some of them are good mechanics. LOL

I am a very sharp backyard mechanic as I have been playing with cars since I was a kid. I have gotten burned many times. Re the last situation, the owner was a great mechanic and an extremely friendly person. Problem was that his sons were on drugs and overbilling me for all repairs--even drumming up problems that did not exist. Unfortunately, I am a very trusting person, and I did not realize it for a few months.

Good news: Owner moved his shop to the Gulfport area just before the hurricanes hit the area in about 2002 or 2003. I suspect he lost his shop and all of his equipment. I hate to wish that upon anyone, but.... Problem is that I really liked the guy, and I would still do him a favor or two. His kids--I probably would not do more than say hi.
