You have to make sure to cover your butt when welding on the gas tank.

2 Brake pads AXXIS DELUXE 80 bucks
i re-used the same sensors, since i didn't get any warning that my pads requires replaced.

Labor 75.00 overall

Hmmm...I may be wrong, but I thought the sensor would only alarm if it got worn down to actually having its metal contacts touch. With that in mind, would it cause your sensor to prematurely alarm? I thought part of changing the pads is changing the sensor along with it.

Amazing the differnces in price we see. $300-$400 is max I'd pay for all 4 rotors and pads...ridiculous. Changing is probably the easier of the maintenance DIY's besides Microfilter.

As far as sensor....no need to replace if not needed. If no signs of wear then no replace. If signs of wear replace. Be careful disassembling because the retainer clip has a tendency to snap

Don't believe you can get OEM at that price. You better buy two sets. Hell I should buy two sets from your parts guy.

Unless of course they are pricing you Zimmermann rotors which are not factory and do not have the aluminum hats

For some people time is money and paying someone else to do it is money well spent.

thats what they tell you. the sensors have a plastic head, as the plastic wears down and the interior wires get exposed, thats when the brake sensors give you warning. so i've not got any warning and so far i've not seen any issue. but it was tricky trying to pull of the wire so as not to break them.

i asked my guy to pull it off carefully, if it breaks i'll get a new set.. and they cost 19 bucks i think.

Yes, that's what I mean. The plastic will wear down...so you didn't change the sensor...you just changed your pads...what if the sensor plastic wears down enough after only 1000 miles on the new pads to cause an alarm...I hope you understand what i'm trying to say and I hope I'm expressing it correctly....I'm confused...
