I have only 16K on my car, and I'm on my 3rd set of runflats. First set was replaced at 9500 miles, second set just few days ago at 16K. Both times the tires were REALLY noisy, and tramlined dangerously on the highway. Both times my insides were worn significantly more than outsides. Both times tires were changed without a question. My warranty is valid til lthe end of 2007, so I'm plannin on getting more free tires before then.
Door seales were replaced twice, and second set is starting to creak sometimes. I think its an ongoing deal.

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
Mine are getting there, but the one that is noisiest seems to be RF, not the back. It is to the point that I can feel the vibration in the steering wheel and it is really obnoxious at slow speeds. I'm guessing mine have about 6K on them (vs. snowtire use). It's due for service soon, so I'll enquire.
I'm glad I reread that bulletin, it indicates replace all 4, even if there is only one that is faulty.
Thx,
Ray Hull
