My warranty is up at the end of april and was wondering if anyone has gotten the dealer to replace their headlights due to scratches. I did a search and couldn't find any info other than the excellent DIY on how to get the scratches polished out. I'm thinking they will do it because they replaced my hood roundel due to peeling, my shifter knob due to peeling, and various switches and plates due to peeling. Just wanted to see if anyone has had success or been denied.
Thanks,
will

interesting to see if they do, doubt it tho, as the scratches would be due to wear and tear and not actually design failure...but GL,

I would be shocked if they did. While peeling is certainly something the manufacturer should be responsible for, scratches on the other hand are not their fault.

You can try but unless the car's brandnew and still in the showroom, they'll probably say it's user-related and not under warranty.
