Hi Everyone:

It is really sad that we continue to see post after post with those who keep buying replica wheels only to find out that the wheels vibrate.

I think that it would be great to put a list together of all of those vendors who keep laying the "trap for the unwary." It is not very fair that people keep spending $600-800 only to learn that they made a mistake.

I have no intention to ruin business for any company, but each one of those vendors knows exactly what it is selling, and the only way that it may stop its bad practices will be if we group up here to make sure that others learn from our mistakes.

My replica wheel vendor was:

Lake Shore Wheel and Tire.

How about listing any good vendors as well?

With all of these complaints, there are a lot of bad wheels out there.

Right now, it is all "buyer beware" for our fellow e60 forum members.

+1 on Miro's. Just make sure to get the correct bore size or get the rings to have it fit well. If you do that, no vibrations.

I had a set of Lakeshore reps. Finish wore off in about a year then went to BBS and found out I had a much smoother riding car.

Good wheels are crucial to car performance, dynamics etc...

Got a set of M5 reps for a customer and when I got the wheels the BMW center caps were misssing. When I called them, they said that the caps were in stock at the time I ordered, but were out of stock by the time they were shipped. I called every week. And was told they will be in this week. 5 weeks later the showed up.

I also had a bad time with Lakeshore wheel and tire ..Had a poor finish on 2 wheels ,the wheel balance was way off on 2 ...I contacted them only to let them know that was the last time dealing with that garbage.... I would not recommend Lakeshore wheel and tire to anyone Don't ask !!!
