And, you know what, we all have been there before and went through the long wait.
I ordered mine January 14th and picked it up May 25th, after it was at my dealer for 6 (SIX !) days.

Isbell,

By the time you read this you should already have the car. I'm sure you will enjoy it, and are probably grinning from ear to ear anyway.

Cheers,

Malc

Iceman,

Do you have any details on the car cover in your photo. I'm looking for something to cover my car while it sits under a locked car port. I'm away overseas for a week or more at time, and I come back and find the car covered in all sorts of air bourn crud.

Cheers,

Malc.

Yes, I am grinning from ear to ear. Yes it is a wonderful car. My wife--who has been rolling her eyes through this entire process--was stunned after she actually saw it, sat in it. She actually thinks it's worth it.

Comfort seats are great, the HUD is the best toy ever, the NAV is significantly better than what I had on the 540i and, honestly, I really like iDrive. Of course I have a PhD in CS so I'm a true geek... perhaps I'm not a fair user sample.

The only thing that bugs me is I don't have BT-integrated phone. I'm going to need that soon. Also, I'd like to hear the engine purr. Must... wait... until... break-in... period....

Maybe I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

I think I'll go take a spin. Yes....

Peace.
2004 (built 6/14, delivered 7/12) 545i jet black/black, manual, NAV, Sound, HUD, comfort seats, and a dose of love
