Driving a 520i with the style 124 18"ers, and these 16"ers on the winter tyres - and I've yet to notice any difference in acceleration.

Thanks JIMM, that does help. You chose some good tires. I would have to go a cheaper route on the tires. I know that Michelin has about a $100 premium on the low profile wheels. They are good tires, I bought my wife some for her truck, but I will probably go for the Pirellis or the Toyos or Kuhmos.

Good luck I figured for a rear real drive car i should get better tires so i went that route.
Usually the larger the wheel the heavier, but the SSR's are a very light racing wheel type.

The hartge wheels are about 22 to 23 pounds, I think with tires is a total fo 49 to 50 pounds. The OEM 18' run flat rires and wheels weight almost 60 pounds. Ouch!

Got my reflectors about 2 weeks ago, it does make the rear stand out better.

Those reflectors do look good. I didn't think it made a difference before I saw them

How much did they run you, they arent available in the US i dont think, will they ship from there.......can you hook some of us in the US with some info if we want to get them?
