I think that options like this and others requires more of the driver because except drive and steer you shall have a dussin of auto programs in control. I don?t think it?s a good thing for confused housewives

Why would BMW want to add some otherwise useless options when it can't even fix the auto-headlights coming on with the sun directly in front of my ride????

I had an aunt who owned a '55 Cadillac convertible with this feature - auto-dimming headlights. The thing also had a compass on the dash, a mechanical station-seeking radio, power everything, and seats with leather trim and leopard-print wool inserts in the seats. What a trick ride that was!

BTW, the auto-dimmers worked flawlessly as I recall.

WOW if Caddy had this back in 55 I would have thought Caddy would be flying cars now!
