Welcome! Not sure of the options list in Europe, but I can tell you that a new Bimmer every year is the greatest option on its own!

Welcome.

Your gonna love the car.

With ?700 to spend I'd go for HiFi and heated front seats.

Nice.
Is the TV function not dependent on having NAV?

With ?700, I think I think I'd select a couple from the following: sport steering wheel, grad tint windscreen if u do a lot of driving, auto-dim mirror(s), Lumbar support, extended int lights package, heated seats/steering wheel, hi fi speaker system.

I thought you need pro nav to get the Tv function?

I'd get the hifi system for ?350 and probably wooden trim. I personally dont like the aluminium cubing.

To have TV-function you MUST have Pro-Nav. Take thw Xenons instead!

Thanks - what a great set of replies.
On the bmw.co.uk website - there is no 'yellow triangle' next to tv function - so i had assumed that it was standalone.

I can't afford the logic 7 - that would be my first choice.

My second choice - I'll try to change to the visibility package. I will consult my fleet manager tomorrow.

Thanks for all replies

BMW.co.uk is not that accurate. Try to get the hifi system. I've not got heated seats but i wish i got them. They are essential for winter.

...why are you going for full leather seats ???? if you get a new company car every year resale value is not a concern to you at ALL ever

if i remember correctly when i specced my E60 M-sport the dealer said the standard seat trim is half leather/half fabric. i saw a car with that trim fitted and it looked VERY good (sporty), so good in fact it made me wonder why bother with full leather.

why not just get the standard interior trim and free up some more ??? for options.

like others have said, with your budget for options, forget the "full leather", forget the TV function...also if the car changes every year and is not a private purchase i think cosmetic things like high gloss shadow line are not worth getting if you simply hand the keys back in 12 months time and get another one.

With ?1500 i'd be looking at some safety kit and some stuff to make all those business miles a bit more entertaining..so:

- visibility pack ?720
- Hifi speaker upgrade ?370
- 6-cd changer ?295
- velour floor mats ?110

total ?1495

all just my 2 cents of course

I had the TV function on my E39 & have not ordered it on my E60, because I found that the freqdency with which I used it did not justify the cost.

I say look at what you will get the most use from!

If you want decent sound I'd suggest the HiFi Loudspeaker system. Alternatively, Adaptive Xenons are another great option.
