@ sven

I'm also from Belgium.
Got my new 520d from the dealer just last saturday. (Carbon black + sportspack)

I am awaiting a little bit of good weather to wash my car again and took some good pictures, so I can introduce myself properly. Have been reading a lot here though.

I have the extra CD changer, but (as you probably know) this does not play MP3, only the front one does. Haven't tried it though. But you say it would play MP3-DVD's... are you sure?

Greetz,

Ribo
Ribo,

thanks and welcome as well :-)
The frontloader is playing MP3 dvd's (mine does).

Otherwise, it is still strange you have the upper picture arm rest and no fold down seats
Let's have a look together

I can see in the pics you have one loader in front...
I have to seperate ones. The guide says that the upper one is for audio cd's only. Am pretty sure it'll only read this.
Should I have to remove the navigation disk and play in that loader my MP3dvd... sounds crazy to me...

I do have the fold down seats... will take a look at my armrest later on. Looks the same to me.

Leather part missing does not bother me... what does is the hole in the back seat to pull this down...

Couldn't this be made a little more 'refined'.

If you want to read MP3dvd's, I'm afraid that this is the only way, indeed ...

Well i have both too, that is because you probably have the professional navigation and sven the business one. That is also why he has an extra space underneath to put something in it...

So if you want to play dvd mp3 you need to remove the navigation disc first and put your dvd in it.
Think that should work then (since i didn't try it yet)

Apparently I don't have the upper armrest as showed in the previous posting 21 by Rudy.
But not the other one neither, so apparently the car is being delivered with 3 kind of armrests?

Anyone an idea if it is difficult to install my Kenwood cd changer into the car and what the price should be?
Installation by the dealer or in an 'aftermarket' shops that are installing radio's?
Do we have to do changes to the car computer or something???

It looks like they've improved on the original armrest on the newer models.

I'd say now they all come with a cupholder cover that flips open. You can still see the difference between the one with the fold-down seats and the one without -- the storage compartment lid is smaller on the one without the fold-downs...
