Again you are right

I had a quick look in the car, but I cannot find the buttons to fold down the seats, so I assume the upper armrest is available without 'fold down seats' option as well? Can someone tell where the buttons to fold down the seats are located normally?

BTW:
I heard from my dealer that the cars with productiondate September and later will not support MP3 anymore (will be an optional feature). Doesn't know if it's true, because it seems to be unlikely ... but you never know ... (mine can read MP3 cd's and dvd's).

The levers to fold down the seats are in the trunk. They're mounted on the "ceiling" of the trunk just inside the opening...

Well the buttons are in the trunk .

Concerning the MP3's, i bought mine in February of 2006 and mine can read MP3's.

But it can't play dvd movies (didn't try with mp3-dvd yet) ... You mean you can playback dvd movies or mp3 dvd's?

EDIT: damn rudy, you are quick

MP3 DVD's (handy since it can read subdirectories and contains > 1000 songs)
One disadvantage (if I had knew it in upfront ...) :I have the business pack and no extra cd-charger, so I should play discjockey with the navigation DVD and my MP3 cd/dvd's

Haven't tried it with movie DVD's, but I assume it wouldn't work with the business navigation/idrive screen ...

Well if you had chosen the business pack, you would get an extra cd changer. That means it wouldn't read dvds so that makes it the same way...

There is always an option to mount a real dvd player in your trunk or somewhere else. Then with Hoby's help you can play your dvd mp3's and movies...

Had a look in the trunk, no levers ... that's ok, since I haven't ordered the fold down seats.
For the cd charger; I would have ordered it if I knew it in upfront. I assume that I (or the dealer) cannot install my Kenwood cdchanger that is lying around here?

I'm quite sure that could be possible, since you can also mount dvd players,... in it.

Otherwise, it is still strange you have the upper picture arm rest and no fold down seats

@ sven

I'm also from Belgium.
Got my new 520d from the dealer just last saturday. (Carbon black + sportspack)

I am awaiting a little bit of good weather to wash my car again and took some good pictures, so I can introduce myself properly. Have been reading a lot here though.

I have the extra CD changer, but (as you probably know) this does not play MP3, only the front one does. Haven't tried it though. But you say it would play MP3-DVD's... are you sure?

Greetz,

Ribo
