I'm a first time BMW owner (2006 530i) and am looking for a good independent service center around Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Foothill Ranch, Irvine area. Any recomendations would be appreciated. Looking for a place that is reasonably priced (compared to dealers) and does good work.

Thanks,
B

I used to take my car to a shop by the Irvine Spectrum (on the other side of the 405) but i thought they were a bit shady, so I was recomended to another place. I take my car to Golden Auto on Campus, between Bristol and MacArthur across from JWA. The guys name is Mike (owner) - he is reasonably priced, does a good job and he is honest. He will not tell you to replace something that does not need to be replaced, he doesn't work like that.
good luck.

Thanks Maco. I will check him out this week. Appreciate the feedback.

For basic stuff like oil and whatnot that I cannot do on my own because I don't have a garage I go to a place called Suspension Plus off Crown Valley and the 5, right near Tucker Tire, just before Costco.

They are awesome, quick and inexpensive in all relativity.
