[/quote]I had them painted at a nearby mechanic so I could supervise. The wheels have to removed and so do the calipers for a clean job. Not completely off the car but off the disc and dangling. I bought the G2 brake caliper paint and gave it to them.
The white BMW is a special caliper decal that hopefully is heat resistant. I just stuck them on tonight so we shall see.

I painted the calipers w/ G2 brake paint when she was being PDI'ed. I had ordered the wheels a few weeks back. Just traded in my factory wheels.
Note to the members;
I am around these cars everyday. I have been to every trianing on the E60's since our "ride 'n drive" event in Dallas, TX. I pride myself in 'Product knowledge' on all of BMW's models, and have access to much more info than most. But I learn something everyday from this forum.
