I think here in the US, vouice recognition comes standard once you order the navigation system.

For iPOD definately get an adapter that gives you true "ine out" from the bottom of the iPOD. I got one of these from Belkin and the increase in sound quality from the POD is amazing,

I think since he order the car with nightvision and those parts are delayed, BMW offered to ship his car to the US without it but still charge ED pricing.

I also wanted to get mine in Monaco Blue but here in europe you cant get the M-Aero in Monaco Blue. but then i saw Carbon Black and immediately said tha that's the color for me
Also i think that these two colors look alike a bit except the fact that Carbon Black doesnt get so bright in strong sunlight unlike Monaco Blue that can be almost as dark as Monaco Blue.
Anyway your car looks AWESOME
And you know that it will look even better with the 166s
