I have heard through the grapevine that someone was able to roll the M-tech aero kit into a lease. Initially, I had thought that the M-tech kit is a separate purchase from the lease. Now, it's possible to roll into? Can someone verify that the policy has changed? If so, that would be great news for those yet to get their e60s.

Well, for me, this IS the case. They rolled the aero kit (including parts cost and paint/install) into my lease. The only catch is that they can only residualize (yes that's the word that was used) $400.00 of it. Doesn't make much sense to me seeing that bumpers are bumpers. It did jack up the lease price quite a bit, though.
And, unless you pay invoice price (plus the 10% VPC charge), then there is a "markup" on it where the dealer makes money...MSRP.

So, it is indeed possible. You just have to find the right dealer who will do this.

I had mine rolled into the lease back in november, at $400.00 residualization....What the hell are these dealers talking about?

I shopped 11 dealerships and none of them would let me roll he aerokit into the lease. They told me it could not be residualized. I leased the 550 without the aerokit. Most wanted me to pay cost of the kit of 2600 installed out of pocket and I decided to wait.

I picked up my 530XI 3 weeks ago and it definitely was an option. I was going to lease and the aero kit was in the deal. I decided to purchase at the last minute because I'm not sure if I want to give up this car so quickly or give it to my son when I get the urge to upgrade. It must definitely depend on the dealer.
OK, that sucks! Don't lease from any dealers in NY! Hahahaha! What a joke. Sorry for the bad information everyone.
