My Ride: Current: 2006 550 - Sport & Cold Weather Packages, Premium Audio and Navigation, Monaco Blue and Biege
Previous: 2001 330Ci - Sport & Premium Packages, Orient Blue and Biege
I did it, I ordered the 550 last night 
I ended up getting 3500 off MSRP.
The package is
550 Automatic, Sport + Cold Weather, Premium Sound, Nav and Satellite.
Tried cars with both sport and comfort seats and liked the sports better.
Very happy, now the wait begins

Called a costco dealer. told me that deals on 530 exist but that no deal on 550 yet and that even the 545 saw only a 500-750$ discount once they were out for a while.
I hope you got a good deal but I'm kind of skeptical of 3500 off sticker.
Ordered the car from BMW of Peabody.
And strickly speaking it wasn't 3500 off of MSRP, it was 3467
If wanted a 545 from stock everybody was willing to deal, one dealer offered $1000 over invoice, but they didn't have any cars with the configuration/color I wanted. Nobody even started with MSRP.
