Hi folks,

I've grown rather disappointed with the local BMW dealership I've purchased my last 2 cars from. It amazes me how little regard some dealerships have for repeat customers... From a convenience standpoint, they can?t be beat. Less than a 15 minute ride from home, but the customer service has really taken a dive, and I really don?t want to spend 50K+ with them on a new 530xi.

Is there a really good dealership to work with in the NJ area? I live in Southern NJ outside of Philly, but will travel a reasonable amount to work with a dealership that "gets it".

If you are happy with Morristown BMW thats great .My buddy bought from them and said there is alot to be desired when you use there service department,he has had some problems with them.
I've been using JMK in Springfield for Sales,Service and Bodyshop and never had one complant in any of the three areas.IMO they realy know how to treat there customers.Good luck to you in which ever dealer you go to.Do a search for more information on the subject.
cheers

Another good dealer is DiFeo BMW in Tenafly...ALthough they are over an hour away from me(there are about 7 other BMW dealers that are closer to me), I find it is worth the trip. First off, their pricing is better than any other dealers I've found in the tri-state area(for both my 540 and 545)...Their service department is great, which should be the most important aspect of a dealer you choose...If I need emergency service(ie: broken clutch, engine issues, car dies, etc.) and they don't have an available loaner car, they will rent an Enterprise car for me through the on-site Enterprise rent a car located inside the dealership...For scheduled service, it is usually at most a 2 week wait for a loaner AND they come out to Long Island with the loaner and pick up my car from my home which makes it sooo easy...I've gotten BMW's from local NY dealers and never had this kind of service...

JMK has had a good reputation for over 20 years. When I bought my 1982 320i new, in late 1981, a friend traveled from NYC to JMK to get service. I never used them. If you search this forum you will see other people, of much more recent vintage, recommending JMK.

i'll step in and say go for JMK as well...i work in NYC and live in LI and went all the way down to get my E63 last week...you may want to ask for Chris Laurenzi and say Mike with the new 645ci sent you ....anyhow, he was great to deal with, went out of his way for me and i'd recommend them to anyone...
