the long wait is almost over

After ordering the car in mid-August delivery should occur this week! My dealer made a mistake in ordering the car that has delayed arrival. I was living in Texas, ordered from Classic BMW but moved to Virginia in late September. My salesman told me they could have the car directly shipped to VA- turns out that's not the case. The car was delivered to Dallas and loaded in an enclosed car carrier for transport to VA, will arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. I hope the weather holds out for Thanksgiving weekend, with free time to do some driving. I look forward to posting questions once my baby arrives!

took about 2 weeks for my car
could not track the voyage, was not on WW
the 800 number was about 1 day ahead of the web site on updates of status, not too bad
good luck for a safe and speedy arrival for your E60
