Oh and how do you compare the service of Century with Assael. I've heard good things about century and was thinking about taking the car there.

I've had my 525i for 6 months and so far had to take it for service 2 times. As long as you call in advance (2 weeks recommended) the BMW dealership will provide you with a loaner car. First time I had to drop mine off they gave me E60 530i, second time X3 3.0
Service was excellent! They even had fresh Starbucks and donuts for breakfast!

I've had my E60 for six months now, two visits to the service dept. Who's your serv. rep? I'm waiting for my third visit, they have replacement cupholders on backorder.
I love those Krispy Donuts and the Starbucks hot chocolate machine

I was wondering if everyone gets a loaner from your dealer on every visit.? Most of the time I get a 'I'm sorry but we're out of loaners right now'.? What qualifies a customer to get a loaner car?? Does it have to be a major service being performed on your car?

[/quote]I agree with jtp, as long as you make an appointment they provide a loaner.... If you go there as a "walk in" they should get you a rental (In the US it will be an "enterprise" car rental or something like that)

I take my e36 to Crevier and the e60 to Sterling.? I think Crevier has more loaner cars than Sterling but I purchased my car at Sterling so Crevier won't give me a loaner.?
My experience with Crevier and now Sterling is that I have to wait at least 3 weeks for an appointment to get a loaner.? I don't think I can wait that long for my next appointment.? The rattling noise coming from the back door is driving me nuts.

Just thought I'd add that I'm currently having a little fun with my loaner. It's an Alpine White X3 3.0i (how'd they know my color?) with a cold-weather package and panoramic sunroof. Not sure what other things are optional on this thing but its fun to play around with, as long as I don't end up playing around with it for weeks! I should have it for two (maybe three) days not counting tonight when I picked it up.
I'm impressed with how much rear-seat room this thing has!
The funniest part was that the panoramic roof wasn't opening at all when I got home (only tilting) and I figured it may need reinitialized so I held the switch in a couple of the directions for a few seconds to see if I could fix it. Nothing worked so I decided to RTFM to see what I was doing wrong. There was a paragraph about how the roof may only tilt if the battery was disconnnected, etc. and if so, it needs to be reinitialized by a technician. Well, technically, I'm no technician but I do have access to TIS so after about 10 seconds of clicking through the TIS screens, voila! I found out what I was doing wrong and fixed the darn thing!
Now, I can enjoy the roof as it was meant to be...
