Just wondering what your dealers give you for a loaner?? My dealer Inskip Auto Center, which is BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Acura, Lexus, etc has an Enterprise rent a car on site. They rent you a car.

I assumed under warranty your dealer would give you another BMW to use.

Is this a dealership by dealership policy?

No loaner and I'm not real happy about it. I'm not sure about other dealers in the area, but this one is so close & convenient it probably isn't worth it to go elsewhere. They probably know this.

First off, when you say "they rent you a car", I assume they are paying for it, not you. Secondly, as many have found out, the loaner policy is up to each dealer, it is not a BMW decision/policy. Many get BMWs as loaners, but many also get rental cars. The only time I have needed a loaner was for my 4 day software upgrade and Sirius install, which I booked several weeks in advance. I did get a 325i for a loaner, but my dealer will also give you an Enterprise rental if no loaners are available.

My dealer limited it to 10 loaners over the warranty period. 8 months into it, I have already used 3 loaners....
I had a Chevrolet Malibu (made me really apprecite the 545i.......) and twice a 330i.
