lease rates on MY 2005 545i are lowest in this model run history, but will change soon to mirror current MY2006 530i rates . I have mine on order now and would encourage you to act ASAP if you want a lease deal that may not be repeated. Dealer can lock rates for 60 days max.

Also, remember to make sure that you use a level playing field in comparing figures; i.e. money factor, depreciation, term, miles, ,sale price, addlt costs(dest chg.), cap reduction, etc.

Comparing monthly payments is worthless without above.

If the dealer can lock in rates for 60 days max, that leaves me with August as the latest, so I guess it won't work.

Getting out of a lease is never a good option - MB credit in particular is known to rape the lesee when trying to get out. I'll talk to a dealer just in case, but it doesn't make sense to pay thousands of dollars to save hundreds

They are practically giving 545's away. 500 over invoice, .001 money factor, 61% residual. You can get this deal all day.

Try using www.swapalease.com. They specialize in the secondary lease market. Makes it very easy to get good lease deals and to get out of lease deals. Got a great deal on a 2000 528 a few years ago off swapalease. Also, couldn't pass on the unbelievable rates on the 545, so I just ordered for 7/22 delivery. Put my wife's ML350 on swapalease.

Good luck.
