I hate the fact that the 550i gets such poor gas mileage. It is not a money issue. It is more of an issue of having to fill my tank all of the time.
My old xi only averaged 23-24 on the same route to work.

You have that the wrong way round. The new CTS is a much, much better car then the STS.

The regular CTS is generally accepted to be one the best cars from GM in years. The CTS-V is proving to be a match for the M5.
