If you have re-leased, you should negotiate not to pay a thing. Where are you located and how long has it been since your covered maintenance expired?

I am in Ontario canada and the cover maintenance has not expired yet under 60000 km but these wear items and not covered under maintenance. The 2 tires are just under 4/32 like 3.5/32 and the 2 pads and rotors are worn.

Isn't it nice how BMW treats us Canadians as second class citizens. We pay much more for the car than our US friends
and they have the nerve not to cover brakes in Canada where as they are covered in the USA as part of standard warranty.

I have leased many many cars over the years and not one of my previous lease agreement reads anything like BMW's.
They expect to get the car back new.

After reading my BMW lease I purchased the their protection plan for brakes and rotors, had all 4 changed at around 50,000 kms, still cost me close to $1,000.00 for the added plan.

You should have negotiated your return on your currect vehicle before you signed for the new one. With this said, I suggest that you speak with your Sales Rep, he will know how good a client you are and perhaps he can swing something on your behalf between the sales and service manager. A lot depends on if your dealer re-purchased this car from BMW Financial or if is going to auction. Good Luck

What does the lease end say you about how much tire thread the car needs to return with?

From BMWFS - "Tires with less than 1/8-inch tread depth" is considered excessive wear and tear. Need to return with tread in excess of 1/8-inch.
