I think there are manual ones in the 5-series accessories catalog.

Any possibility of adding the sunshades later?

I would cancel the heated rear seats, not order the shades and order the Premium Package. You'll get the day/night mirrors, etc. that will make your ride that much more comfortable.

As someone who grew up in South Dakota I see the need for the heated seats. Also, just because you are in a northern state doesn't mean it will not get hot. The sun can beat down just as good in the summer time in the mid-west as anywhere else. It won't be for as long. Where will you be parking your car? If you have a garage, drive to work and park under a cover, then I wouldn't get them. I ordered them on my car and no rattles and even in Germany where the summers don't get that bad, they do help. If it was a money issue, tint is cheaper but you've already gone for the full monty so another option sounds like its not a big deal.

[/quote]That may be true. I guess the manual side window shades could be done relatively easily. It's the power rear shade that would be the problem. Maybe there is a manual rear shade that can be installed.
It's that back window that I like shaded in the summer here in New Orleans when it 97 F and I have to park outside in the sun!
