I have been following this forum for quite a while. I appreciate very much your opinion and comments. It is easy to notice that you are quite fond of different extras.
Two questions :
1. I wonder why you did not take anything from BMW Individual>
2. Somebody mentioned that one should take BMW Individual for amber illuminated door sills. I wonder why on the BMW Individual official site they
are not specified as illuminated for 5-series though they are so for 6-series>

I wanted the ventilated seats and BMW Individual is not offering a package with ventilated seats...
The BMW Individual door sills are indeed illuminated red, on the E60 too. But you can only get them when you order the Individual package. They can't be ordered seperate...

Last spring I got BMW Individual 5-series brochure from my dealer (I'm in Luxembourg)printed in Germany 2004. There for all types of leather they provide for the individual perforation option and even give sample photos of all of them.
I can't imagine any other reason for the perforation rather than seat ventilation???
As regards illuminated door sills the photo in the brochure shows BMW Individual door sills not illuminated. I compare it with the 6-series photo (standard staff brochure) where they are shown illuminated and of different structure. I wonder where you have got the information that BMW Individual door sills 5-series should be illuminated? Sorrry to bother you again as I'm contemplating to buy my second e60.
