My Ride: Current: 2006 550 - Sport & Cold Weather Packages, Premium Audio and Navigation, Monaco Blue and Biege Previous: 2001 330Ci - Sport & Premium Packages, Orient Blue and Biege
Default

My wait is over and I am now driving my 550i.

I picked my new ride up today....

Monaco Blue
Biege Interior
Sports Package
Navigation System
Premium Sound
Satellite Radio

It rides great and the the power is just amazing, I had test driven several 545s before I ordered the 550i and you can really feel the difference.

It was well worth the wait

I will post some pictures tommorrow, it was a little dark when I got home with it this evening.

Congrats on the New Ride. I can't wait to see pictures. Monaco Blue was a seriousl color consideration for my 550i.

Please post some pics, and don't forget the engine and the start stop button and key fob instert on the wheel. I want to see this in person and in pics on a production 550i, from the states.

Regards, Mike.

Hey that's great. The 550 is a blast, ain't it?

Your color combination should look fantastic; can't wait to see pics, but I know it's hard to stop driving it around so much to stop for pics.

Are you having as much fun with the Premium sound system and SAT as I am? It rocks.

The other morning I was on my way to O'Hare at 5am and Freebird was on Classic Vinyl. Normally this is a bit early in the day to rock on, but I turned it up a bit and hit blasted away at 90/90 on I294 (90 db and 90 mph). I didn't need my usual Starbucks after that.

Enjoy it!

The sounds system sound great overall, CDs are just outstanding.

The FM reception is way better than my 330Ci was, I am picking up a lot more stations.

The Sirius is a little compressed, but I knew that going in and I am fine with it, I just love the variety, no matter what I am in the mood for there are a least 2 channels of it.

It will be nice if they ever get MP3 working with Pro Nav, but at this point I have so many audio choices I am set for a while.

I do have one complaint about the Nav though, it has missplaced my house, it has it over about 3 blocks from where it really is
