I don't think so. I have no head light washers and have never needed. I use Rain-X sometimes, but other than a few bugs, the lights stay clean.
JDN, are you sure you have Xenons ?
I know for sure it is standard on Xenons in Germany.
Pretty sure. They are active. I have SMG Sports Package.
For US spec cars, you only get the headlight washers with the Cold Package. At least on 530's.

BTW, has anyone seen a green e60?
There is a member on here from Germany who has the Oxford Green, he hasn't posted in a long time, however.

Do a search though, becasue he posted a lot of pics when he first got the car.

I remember seeing pics - but can't remember who's car it was.
I've searched the pics I have but I don't have any in green.

Aha! Here we go!

I remembered it was a long name that began with W! Quite easy to find after that

I think I read somewhere a few years ago that headlight washers and self leveling systems were required by law in Germany (Europe) for Xenons (since dirty headlights can distort the light beam and project them on the eyes of the opposing drivers, and with bright Xenons they did not want that to happen). However, this is not required in the US. BMW still includes the leveling system on Xenons here in the US, but not necessarily the headlight washers.

On my car the headlight cleaning system came with the cold weather PKG. The leveling system came with the Xenon lights. This is on a US Spec car purchased in Germany.

It seems you can order item 502 - headlight cleaning system seperate. My basis for this....

See the notes on 248 - Heated Steering Wheel; it implies that it must come with 453 or 494. 453 is Ventilated seats which is not allowed with ZCW. This implies that 248 is orderable with ventilated seats or when heated front seats is ordered...

So in essence ventilate seats (453) INCLUDE heated seats.. However BMW is not allowing ordering of ZCW as I'm sure there is no credit delete for the double pay on heated seats... hence you must order a 453 with ZCW actually as: 453+248+502

Rudy,

I read that the same way, "Notes: 206 must be ordered with ZSP"
I think that reads in one direction - IF you want 206 THEN you must order ZSP, but not the other way around.
