My 2004 needs an upgrade and I want to know how long it takes and how much is it? I know I can make a story like the Idrive being locked up , etc.
But I am curious to see what the actual price is for just an upgrade? If anyone know the actual price I appreciate a reply. Thanks,

Thanks,

You should be able to get your software upgraded at no cost under warranty. All you need to do is have a complaint about a problem that has been corrected with a newer version of software than you currently have installed.

[/quote]DerrickJ: what is your car's manufacture date?
I took delivery of my car in July of 2004. I had a CPT9000 installed. About two weeks before my first service, the CPT9000 was having sync problems. When I brought it in for service, I asked how much for the bluetooth upgrade and they charged me $90 and they also loaded the latest software version at that time...
Obviously, I threw away a bunch of money on the CPT9000, but bluetooth is working better than the CPT9000 ever did...
