In mine, I use the flashlight charging outlet for an auxiliary power adapter, which adds a power outlet in the glovebox. (And the flashlight is not LED, it's incandescent.)

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
I got mine as an complimentary present from the dealer about two months after I picked up the car.
It's worth about 28 ? but it's nice to have, espesially up here in North where the sun comes up the next time sometime in March
