This might be a repeat from someone's earlier question, but is the flashlight still included with the current E60's?

Strange... In my European version E61, I can't even find an outlet for it in the glove compartment.... There is a 12V "lighter outlet" in thee "cargo area", but I can't find any on the passanger's side (as stated in the manual). Anybody got a clue?

Really, and this flashlight is located on the left side of the glovebox? A friend came by last night to show me his new 530iA (Alpine White w/Black Leather) and we could not locate anything. Perhaps the BMW Center "forgot" to supply it.

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets. First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.

Just a regular old bulb-type in my 04. But what really irks me is the lame "toolkit." In short, No More Tools (well, two wrenches). Sad. I'm still carrying, from car to car, the nice fuzzy blue polishing cloth that came with my 87 535iS toolkit.

Otherwise, now, it's just the first aid kit, tire change stuff, fuse tweezers and the angled roof opening tool. An no reflective triangle, but then we never got those in USA.

Cheers,
Ray Hull

PS: I think someone told me the same deal now holds true for BMW motorcycles too. Translation: See your friendly dealer and don't mess with anything.
