The big things for 07 are the comfort seats in the Sport package, and the M sport steering wheel. Previously, only the SMG cars got this wheel in the US market. There is also an aux-in input standard, and the option for HD radio. Figure another year of refinement and troubleshooting under the belt as well. Each year has gotten better in this respect so far. Reasonable to assume that the trend will continue.

My apologies, I left off the mileage of the 2006 CPO, it has 13,000 miles. It was a July 05 Build date. Please keep opinions coming. Again, it helps to hear from everyone on this Forum. I value and respect all the posters on this Board. It is a tremendous community. 
I vote new. You never know if the used car has bugs and if the prior owner got fed up. Heck, the 13K is half the life on the sports tires, which narrows the difference a bit.

My Ride: In the process of buying the right 2006 530i
Well, another update. The dealer told me he would sell me a 2007 530i for $1250 over invoice. Now, we don't know if there is going to be a big price increase, but I really doubt that will be the case. So, I am leaning toward placing my order for a 2007. If I order now, I should get it around the end of April or early May, correct? I think the price for a new 2007 530i is pretty damn good. Given that fact, I am really leaning toward ordering this week, and then wait, and wait. 
But, if I can wait, WOW!
Any suggestions? What would you do given this update?

That was roughly the deal I was able to get one year ago on my 06 (mine was a percentage over instead of a fixed value though). I got my car April 18th. Just get the 07.
