Is it worth it and how much did you guys pay for it. My maintenance warranty is up and am thinking about buying it

Search. I think I saw around $1800, but if it is worth it depends on how much you drive and how much you will use it. If you are a low mileage driver, you may only get two oil changes and a brake fluid change and it is too much. If you put a lot of miles on your car, then you may get 3-4 oil changes, a brake fluid change, brake pads and rotors changed - but it ends up about what you would have paid an independent mechanic to do the same work. I believe the clutch is covered if you have a manual transmission, so that is something to consider as well. If you need a new clutch, that would certainly make it worth the price of admission.

I thought about mods but I think getting a M5 will be cheaper. Now to convince the pregnant wife that a m5 is a good family car

I just got mine for 2300 for my '08 535xi w/ 58K miles. Shopped around a lot but just couldn't find someone lower. Im in MA, if that matters.

Surely that is an extended warranty and not extended maintenance. I think the msrp is $2199 for extended maintenance.

Dead sure it was extended maintenance. Just went in for a 60K checkup. The dealer may be making a commission over the msrp, who knows. Also I was at 58K miles, I think the price is different if you are under 50K. Doesn't really matter now.
