Extended Maintenance or not
#1
Hi guys:
My current free maintenance on 04 545i expires end of June. Yesterday, I took my car to the dealer for vehicle check, and had them change the engine oil, all fluid, all brake pads. Should I still buy the extended maintenance? Any advise is greatly appreciated.

How many miles do you have on your car? Did you buy the car new?

go to http://www.twinkidneygrill.com/maint.html Rodney will hook you up. There is a code you can input to save addtional $50, forgot what it was, can someone chime in on this. I purchased mine a couple of months ago, after what the dealer did for my X5 and my brother's 3 series well worth it.
On my X5 at 99XXX miles they
replaced oil
transmission fluid
transfer case fluid
spark plugs
all drive belts
oxygen sensor
brakes/rotors
same thing for my brothers E46.

Have you talked to your client advisor? You should be able to buy the extended maintenance plan, as well as the extended warranty, from your dealer if you bought the car new. I would give him a call to find out if it is possible and to check on the prices. There are other threads on here which discuss the difference is prices some dealers charge.

Thanks for all the advises. I guess I should go with twinkidneygrill on this one?
