I've recently managed to get 12% of the full price of my Touring in the UK from main dealer.

Don't know how that would compare to ED to the states and then back again??

Isn't there some sort of "deilvery experience program" scheduled for Europeans as soon as BMW Welt is in place in Munich?

How did you manage to reclaim the VAT via this Polish branch? Even if you register a car as a company that pays VAT you still cannot deduct VAT over, I think, 9000 EURO of the net price of a car and the VAT rate is 22%.

I bought the car in Germany without VAT - And they never asked me to pay VAT in poland. So really i have my car without VAT. i also dropped the invoice value by 50% and paid 8.5% over that - so it was a bargain!

And, why doesn't BMer have a US delivery for those in Europe? We have some nice roads too.
Yep. A question I asked BMW Munich and only got laughter. :'(
The X5 is produced in the USA, so US delivery would be just perfect for us...

Shouldn't the country that, on balance, has the highest VAT rate & the lowest tax-paid price have the lowest pre-tax price? Wht's the VAT rate in Holland?

hi clarence. The original invoice was from BMW. I recreated another one using my dutch company. ie BMW thus sold to my dutch company and dutch company sold to the polish one. The funny thing is that the duty people in poland saw the original BMW invoice before i showed them the reduced one of 50% less. But they didnt seem to mind.

Actually whats even better is that the duty now paid on imported cars in Poland is illegal due to the EU. Thus they are supposed to pay BACK the money to us if you file for it. It is illegal because they dont charge the same duty WITHIN poland. in holland for instance there is 47% duty but this duty ois ALSO on cars bought inside holland.

So when i get my money back i would have paid zilch in taxes !
