What do you all think about this . . . I have a 3 week old 545 with a puncture in the left rear tire. Drove maybe three or four miles before I took it in for service. When I took it in, the service guy told me that you cannot patch run flats. That seems right to me, but does anybody know if it's true? Now here's the worst part. They couldn't find a tire store open on Saturday, then on Monday, they tell me that they can only get the tire from the West Coast. I'm in Kentucky! How is that possible? They've had my car for seven days to replace a tire. Has anyone in the South East US had this problem?

I've heard of a lot of people repairing a run flat... I think I would consider repair if i had a flat... since its soooooooo expensive!

How many miles do you ahve on the tires? if its less than 400 call the manufacture tell them your situation and they might offer to pay for half the cost. No i'm serious... this happened to a friend with Goodyear Eagle F1s and she called and manufacture offered to pay for half since it was so new. She had 200miles on it at the time of flat.
