Milton Keynes Victoria in June 2006.

It was an ex-demo model with all the extras. It was exactlty the spec I would have ordered anyway so I'm very very pleased! The ?10k in my pocket leaves me enough to treat my 535d to a little visit to DMS in the future too with loads of change.

I got the 11% off quote from Broadspeed but they then tried the "we can't give you much for your trade-in" line and proceeded with a joke offer. So, I just flashed the quote for the new 535d and the best trade-in offer from a BMW garage to several other BMW dealers. I ended up with 10% off the list for the 535d and the best trade-in from anyone (except again a new Boxster with 0% off list). All in all, a good deal in my book - the obliging dealer was Bavaria in Harrogate.

Ive been on the lookout for a new 5 series tourer.

Got a near 10% discount on a pre facelift 520d SE Auto + Options. put a deposit down on that then heard about the facelift.

Went back to my dealer, decided to go for a facelifted 525d SE Auto with the same Options and he kept the same discount.

Ive been through a few brokers, Motorlogix and Carfile. Both were cheaper by a few hundred, but when I factor in the hassle of traveling 200+ miles to get my car, plus the half day holiday I would have to take, it was easier to stick with my dealer.

its all relative to the trade in value. or the cost to change.
i go for like for like with added options on the new car.this time i added logic 7 19"wheels and hud ,so the cost was ?5000.00 per year and a new car.
how do you work out the price.
530d cost 5000.00 per year
535d cost 5000.00 per year
its all in the trade value. but my cars are very low miles on trade inand high spec, my 2cents!
