Wow! scary! Ok I've learned my lesson too... I always just inspect the car when I pick it up but when I drop it off i just drop it off and leave... I never wait till they check the gas or milage or for any damages... Now I'm going to have to wait and ask somone to go check before I leave. Its for the benefit of both parties...

the dealer gets reimbursed by BMW for maintenance covered under the full maintenance warranty, as they do with warranty work
