A similar thing happened to me 3 years ago, when I ordered my last E39. The dealer added a sunroof and the garage door opener to the car without telling me (he claimed he made a mistake...).
I had a little "fight" with them and ended up paying nothing for it, since it was their mistake and the order form that I had signed did not include these options. Be persistent!

they added it on by mistake....i assume the deal is done on the car finance wise so there is nothing for you to pay here and you should not even consider contributing to this additional extra.
Go collect the keys and take the car....what are they going todo? order another car? I doubt it. Not for the sake of $595. It's their mistake not yours.
I cannot see a scenario where they will not give you the car, just stand firm and they'll give in.
