I ordered my 545ia with the below options. I got my final order list today for the car which is currently in the Atlantic with an ETA to the port 9/21. It had an extra option power rear sunshade List $595, ordered by my CA by mistake. What should I do?

I have the option and personally like it very much, but that aside, if it is their mistake, they should eat it. And it's not like they accidentally ordered the Sports Package at several thousand dollars. Don't no the particulars of the deal you negotiated, but if you got a VERY good deal, you might not be able to play hard ball. If they offer to split the difference, I guess I wouldn't be against that if it were me.

I'll have to fully agree with him

I vote nothing.
What else are they going to do? Order you another car over $595?
I doubt it. If they tried that, you could raise holy heck with BMW NA and that would definitely shine a dim light on your dealer. The whole point of ordering is that you get exactly what you want. Nothing more, nothing less.

Take a copy of your purchase order to the stealer. Tell them this is what you bought, and the purchase order is an agreement. However, I have two friends in the states who ordered through BMW military sales and BMW put little perks in their cars. Maybe it's a gift. Eitherway, enjoy!

Thanks to all who replied and voted. AS usual most people agreed with my wife and would offer nothing. Maybe I'm a sucker as I went for 25% of invoice as my CA has promised to deliver the car to me 500 miles from the dealership via an enclosed truck. You better come through Adrian!

I don't think you wanna turn down the car for that...
But make them pay a little. It's THEIR mistake.

I like the option, but would not pay if it was a mistake.
