CPO warranty refund
I know extended warranties are refundable, retroactive of course. Is CPO warranty also refundable? I am looking to trade my vehicle and the dealer (not BMW) says CPO does not really mean anything to them so they can't give me a better offer than a non-CPO car. I do know however that it can be transferred to the new owner even if it goes through a dealer. So they can charge more for a CPO car but is not willing to pay more for it. Anybody have any ideas on how to go about with this?

Tell him/her they are full of sh_t and you're interested in talking a deal someone who knows what they are talking about or you'll walk to a competitor's store and conduct your business there.
Check out the used car values on edmunds.com. Along with your used values for retail, trade in, and private party it shows you CPO value which is several thousand more. However, I doubt you will ever find a dealership that will indeed give you more money for this warranty. Believe me, I have been to many dealerships looking to trade mine in and not only will they give me no extra money for being CPO but they won't give me anything for my extended maintenance coverage that I purchased. thats just how they are. sucks unless you plan on keeping the car a while.
