"You can get the BMWNA Extended Maintenance (not warranty) from: www.twinkidneygrill.com. I think the cost on the site is around $1250, and you might save more by using the word "fest" (short for Bimmerfest) in your order. The seller is BMW of South Atlanta, GA. You can by this coverage from any BMW dealer, and it will be entered into the permanent computer record for your car. I'm sure that record has a name, but I don't know it."

I am picking up an '05 545i tomorrow and I am considering the extended maintenance agreement from twinkidneygrill.com. I have not read the 6yr/100k warranty agreement and would appreciate any advice on it. Is this truly the same company that 5000 dealers use to offer the extended warranty or is that a bit of a stretch. Would I be wiser to buy the extended warranty from the dealer?

Thanks in advance!!

With the twinkidneygrill.com info in hand, my dealer agreed to match their price which saved me a $1K off the dealers original quote. To top things off the dealer was able to offer an even better warranty of an additional 6 years / 72k miles from today or effectively a 6 year / 106k mile warranty.

BTW - the extended warranty company listed in the twinkidneygrill.com information is the same one my local dealer uses. I was also told that the price of the extended maintenance agreement is increasing significantly next month so if you are considering buying this you should probably do it sooner than later.
