Good move to move on.
In fact I'd buy a salvage title (if it was a semi minor accident that didn't envolve frame damage or engine damage) car before a buy back.
It takes a lot usually to be a buy back car. Most cases all scenarios have been played out to fix the problem. Dealership may have it working now but I'm sure in the past they had it working also.
I don't know what the current price is on 330's but to even consider it I'd look at as basically a salvage vehicle when it comes to pricing. In other words one hell of a good deal.

Know what you're dealing with. Was it a "good-will" buy back ..eg the dealer had a dissatisfied customer and they made a deal to get them into a car that was more to their liking ... OR was it a Lemon Law settlement.
The main difference is the former will show no title or carfax traceback and will be clean for future resales. In the latter situation, the car is marked forever unless some unscrupulous dealer purposefully and illegally scrubs the title.
