OK, great thanks! I also found them here for about $1600 (plus shipping). I'm going to see if I can get my local dealer to match this price so that I don't need to pay for shipping.

not a bad price, but I've heard Gary at Newport give s a better price than that...you could also do a search for 166 wheels to get a feel for price range..there many threads regarding these wheels and purchasing them...good luck...nice choice in wheels....

I plan to keep the 172's in case I want to put the car back to stock.

BTW, I plan to just change the rims and keep the stock tires that the 550i sport comes with. I think I read in another thread that will work.

A, Gene is right about Garry, $1495 + shipping , a really good person to deal with ! As for tires , YES ,the stock tires from the 172's work perfectly , you can see pics in "my album" of the outcome . I'm very happy with the set up and performance . Good Luck !
