My 525xi has arrived and discharged at the port (NY, NY). So if yours was also carried by WW's Tancred (vessel name), expect your dealer's call very soon!

I thought east coast uses the same port since BMW's VPC is right there. See the map.

At this point, I don't you think you can still track it online (OC is notoriously late). So I'll try to be patient (if i can) and wait for the dealer's call. I am crossing my fingers and hoping I can take the delivery this week.

That's got to be the port mine came into as well; glad to hear OC can be a bit behind, I've sent an email to my Client Adviser and sure hope she'll call me back today - it's HARD to just sit here waiting, when you know the car is almost here!!! Did you buy yours from Herb Chambers?

No, never. 
I had very bad experience with them. Their salemem treat you like you are an idiot knowing nothing about the car and pricing and make you feel you are lucky if they are generous enough to offer you MSRP. Plus you have to constantly check the parking meter to buy cars from them. How ridiculous.

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.
Your salesman can pull up more up-to-date info on the vehicle status. He should be able to tell you if it is through VPC and status of a delivery truck.
If he can't, he is just being lazy and does not want to look into it.

I think we should be able to take the delivery by the end of this week from all the info i gathered. I am telling myself it is pretty realistic, isn't it? 
PA and MA are not far from NJ at all.

Mine rolled off the truck at my dealer this morning 
They said it takes a couple of days to get all the necessary paperwork from BMW, and to get the car prepped; hope to take delivery by this Friday!!!

HOLY COW! So it only took 2 days from arriving at the port (07/08) to getting to your dealer?! I guess those guys at VPC are working really hard or ... ... do NOT tell me you are Bush's cousin.
